great, however I want shared drive to appear when bootcamp partition is running in fusion ONLY on windows as D: drive, not appear in Mac as then all my cloud sync and iis websites work fine.
Any ideas how I can force the shared partition to mount on windows when in fusion mode?
You'd need to manually add the partition as a Raw Disk to the Virtual Machine using "/Applications/VMware Fusion.app/Contents/Library/vmware-rawdiskCreator" from a Terminal. Have look at my reply in Re: harddisk not found for reference.
(ironically it did this automatically on my last build, but after rebuilding my mac hardware it seems to have reverted to mac)
I seriously doubt that since VMware Fusion does not automatically add physical disks/partitions other then the Boot Camp partition any any additional physical disks/partitions have to be added manually.
